Professor Tat Koon KOH is the Director of the Global Business Program and Associate Professor of Information Systems.

One of the many crazy things he has done was to cofound a B2B exchange platform as a college freshman. While his involvement with the start-up did not get him into any Forbes lists (how unfortunate!), he gained a rich set of e-business experiences that still drives his academic and professional interests today. He left the start-up to pursue a Ph.D. and learn more about the dynamics of digital platforms. His current research and teaching interests cover digital transformation, platform design and strategy, digital and social media marketing, and crowdsourcing innovation. He also advises companies and start-ups on business strategy and development in these areas.  He has supervised corporate projects for organizations such as GSK, Klook, Lego, Nike, Sony, Starbucks, and Tencent. He has obtained HK$2.3M+ in competitive research grants and received awards for research and teaching.

He is happily married, has two children, plays the drums badly, and does web programming in his free time.
